This is all moving inexorably towards and through a world in which omnipresent interfaces to human bodies (and brains) so seamlessly merge surveillance and digital entertainment as information encoding, decoding and transmission, that not only does the functional dichotomy of “for me” and “from me” fade and disappear, the accelerating momentum of institutional or commercial knowledge and personal identity begins to converge into a Swiss Army knife-like polymorphic unity and utility. What, exactly, is being replicated and sociotechnically self-propagated here?
