Emptiness

Everything begins as nothing and eventually returns there again. There is no real loss or sorrow, just the transience and self-inflected emptiness that pervades everything in life and to which we all must eventually return. A hollow, haunting experience of these facts can be overwhelming but it is worth remembering that if you are sensitive, perceptive and mature enough to be aware of these things, you are already living a far more meaningful life than a chaotic multitude of shallow souls and superficial lives that flutter like lost moths between bright flickering flames in all this Cosmic darkness; all without wisdom, insight or true purpose.
