Context: The chaos theory of word creation

Interesting etymologies coursing as arcs from quarks through stochastic serendipity into literature and beyond but then most etymology is found fascinating to reflective minds. Neologisms are the recursive concatenation and hybrid juxtaposition of pre-existing symbol strings, sequences, phonemes, grammatical configurations or syntactical elements and the conceptual abstractions as semantic intent or accidental idiom that skip like stones across the surface of all possible or probable communication.

This is really not all that alien to physics, mathematics or the logical antinomies that lie stealthily beneath them. If linguistic patterns of information-processing (for which we all inadvertently represent “edge devices” of distributed computation and storage) do possess any formal or explanatory proof and causal force as chaotic systems, it is in the “strange attractors” and symmetrical self-containment of unbounded abstraction as indefinite extensibility that constitutes both their raison d’être and effective logical transmission medium.

The exception of unexpected words percolating out of the living Petri dish of human minds and disembodied cultures reflects and self-inflects the same abstract principles that drive technologies, arts and other creative responses to a complexity that language (as cognition) itself often enough invokes; here closing the ontological loop by leaving it as essentially unresolvable. Language is as an autonomous entity of adaptive self-propagation usually quite blindly content to simply persist and flow or change but in these random fluctuations of useful novelty we might just be observing the logical abyss and generative font of biological innovation and life itself as it stares, unblinking, back at us.
