My name is Graeme. This blog is where I have been thinking in public for years, mostly by collecting fragments of a larger whole. That is probably all any of us ever do: a note here, an argument there, a pattern noticed too late, a causal vector that only becomes visible after the fact. The individual posts can be read on their own, but they also belong to a longer attempt to understand how systems, language, technology, politics, truth, disorder, absence, and human life connect.

I now often use generative AI as a compositional tool for my own ideas. Not as an oracle, not as a substitute for thought, and not as a machine that somehow owns the work. It helps me arrange, test, sharpen, and recover ideas that have been forming here for a long time through study, interruption, difficulty, return, and revision. This blog is the record of that process: not a finished system, not a closed account, but a place where fragments remain together long enough for the spaces between them to become productive.

The blog itself is personal, non-commercial, and unaffiliated with any ideological, social, economic, corporate, or political school of thought. I am simply offering my own understanding to a world that seems to have little time for either it or me. Regardless, post-stroke, humbled by disability and somewhat broken but not defeated, I persist in thinking and writing because, in the end, this is what life does. It persists. Until it doesn’t. And that is the destiny of each and all.
