Four-sided Triangles: Ideology

Once intellect is subordinated to ideology, what passes for intelligence becomes whatever reproduces the conditions that sustain that ideology. The prefabricated templates for thought and action that emerge date quickly; they produce only the kinds of crises they are designed to validate. This recursive self-authorization extends beyond political regimes or malfunctioning democracies—it defines a global feedback loop. Intelligence, once a generative property of life, now suffocates in its own self-confirming logic. When understanding becomes an act of mimicry, cognition collapses into administration.

Corporations and institutions, unable to acknowledge their systemic contradictions, amplify them. The result is an accelerating depletion of the very substrate—ecological, psychological, and social—on which their existence depends. The ground of meaning and survival alike burns while the structures built atop it insist the fire is progress. This is not moral failure but structural recursion: a civilization devouring itself to maintain the illusion of control. The refusal to confront systemic error guarantees its escalation until collapse is the only feedback left.
