The Totalitarian Enigma

The enigma of the totalitarian state is that it must constantly invoke by provocation precisely those threats and fears that its ideology is founded upon to validate the brute-forced tyrannical exploitation and mobster-kleptocratic oppression of its own people. It is a cycle and spiral of sheer absurdity that would be fascinating to observe as the unravelling pathology of a template case and archetype of self-persecutory narcissism if it were not possible that it might end us all. Ideology like this is identical to (a) fundamentalism and this is why it is so dangerous – it doesn’t matter how clever they might actually be because when they have handed over their rational faculties to a degenerate system and governance mechanism that instructs them not to think for themselves, their actions inevitably become in sum effect both ignorant and immoral.
