The cascade is not only informational. Polluting the global information environment with manufactured volatility generates confused socioeconomic activity: distorted investment, reactive policy, institutional overcorrection, speculative behaviour, disrupted labour, fractured attention and misallocated resources. Political absurdity does not merely produce content. It fills the world with noise, movement and heat, driving institutions and markets into frantic motion until signal collapses into spectacle and action becomes the echo of its own performance.

Technology captures the turbulence, renders it as data, models its rhythms and sells prediction, targeting and control back into the same environment. The systems amplifying volatility become more valuable precisely because the world has become harder to interpret. Political instability produces socioeconomic disorder; disorder produces more data; and that data strengthens the technologies that sustain and exploit the instability. The result is an age animated by recursive commotion: loud with consequence, saturated with activity, yet steadily emptied of orientation, until performance becomes the product and noise mistakes itself for meaning.
