We have never before had such immediate and persistent access to the happening facts of any conflict. Even as the litany of horrors in Ukraine unfold before us, please remember that beyond whatever data is recorded and stored, each and all of us are the living memory, human experience and historical witnesses to these proliferating crimes. If human history on this planet has not been forced by some mad king into a terminal endpoint of self-extinguishing absurdity, then all these illegal transgressions and unjustifiable horrors will one day be accounted for. Each and every wicked decision leaves an irreducible trail in space and time. All of these acts will be remembered. Justice will be served.
