Applied Field Logic

Applied Field Logic is a relational account of how systems emerge, acquire identity and persist through change. It begins not with separate objects that subsequently enter into relations, but with differences, delays, dependencies, constraints and absences whose recurrent organisation produces the relatively stable identities experienced as things. Objects remain real, but their identity is an achievement of organised relation rather than an isolated possession.

The central question is not simply what a system contains, but what organisation it reproduces while its components, states and circumstances change. Applied Field Logic develops a common language for tracing this continuity across physical, biological, communicative, institutional and technological systems without erasing the local mechanisms that distinguish them.
